Volux is Here

We are excited to announce that a new filler called Volux is now available. Keep reading to learn more.

What are fillers?

Fillers are injectable treatments used to treat signs of aging. These include wrinkles, folds, and volume loss. There are different kinds. The most common ones include hyaluronic acid as the active ingredient. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar found naturally in your skin. It works by bringing water into your skin to restore volume and fill in wrinkles and folds.

What is Volux?

Volux is the newest filler in the Juvederm collection. Volux was approved last year and is now available. Volux is in the Juvederm collection and uses the same Vycross technology as Voluma, Vollure, and Volbella which allow the products to last longer than other ones. Volux has the highest level of hyaluronic acid. This means that it volumizes even more and it’s very firm. This makes Volux perfect for restoring bony volume loss.

Where can Volux be used?

Volux is approved for use in the chin and jawline. It can also be used off-label in other areas where you want structural support. This includes the temples, upper cheeks, and nose.

What happens after a Volux treatment?

It’s normal to have swelling after any injectable treatment, in particular with fillers. Since Volux has a higher concentration of hyaluronic acid, it will bring more water into the area. This means you can expect to have more swelling. The swelling can last for up to two weeks.

How long do the results of Volux last?

As with any filler, the more product is used, the longer it will last. Volux has been approved in the United States for a one year duration, but up to two years overseas. This depends on the individual, their metabolism, and the amount of product used.
