Dr. Alex uses a painless technique when performing the hand rejuvenation treatment. First numbing cream is placed on your skin for about 15 minutes. This makes the treatment very comfortable. Also, during the laser treatments we blow cold air on your skin to keep you comfortable. Dr. Alex uses a canula to deposit Voluma in the hands. A canula is a device attached to the syringe to deposit the product in the skin. Unlike a needle a canula does not have a sharp tip. Additionally, a canula is long and flexible. This allows Dr. Alex to insert the canula in only one point on the skin. Both of these things decrease the risk of bruising.
How long do the hand rejuvenation results last?
Most people enjoy the results of fillers such as Voluma in the hands for one to two years. The more active you are with your hands the more frequently you will require a maintenance treatment. For the dark spots, most people enjoy results with just a single #nofilter treatment, but some people require a series of up to six treatments.
